Ilustis

I have always been fascinated by creating series of artworks. Maybe it's because of my studies and how I like when things are coherent and connected to each other somehow or I just like the patience behind the works.

Ilustis started as a final art project for my visual design course at uni. I quickly realized that I'd like create something that doesn't collect dust after the presentation, because that is what has happened to the previous course work.

I made 12 dotwork postcards. My very first artwork series. Each of the flowers represent their zodiac sign. I wanted to create something visually beautiful that doesn’t look cliché, so that’s why there’s no names or dates of the signs, just the flower and constellation sign.
